Lionel King

I was born in West Ham, London in 1936 and was educated at Leyton County High School. I later attended the University of Birmingham and graduated with a degree in Modern Languages. I was University Research Scholar from 1959-60. I am a retired Senior Lecturer in Further and Higher education and have since been active as a writer, journalist and broadcaster. I was a parliamentary candidate at the General Elections of 1964, 1970, and 1987.
