Adler has an extensive background in entertainment marketing. She created the advertising and marketing department for Indiewire, initiated with a partnership with HP at the 1999 Sundance Film Festival. Adler has worked as an Account Executive at Capital Cities/ABC, created the Ad Sales department for Arthouse Marketing Group, an on screen ad network in partnership with the Laemmle Theatres. Since 2011 Adler has served as the Director of Advertising for the Film Society of Lincoln Center, where she is also the Associate Publisher of the Custom Publishing division of Film Comment magazine. [July, 2015] In addition to her work in film, Adler has been a theatre producer since the early 1990's. She produced the World Premiere of Gordon Dahlquist's Severity's Mistress in New York at Soho Rep. In Los Angeles she is the Executive Director and Founder of Pacific Stages, where she produced the World Premiere of Something Happened, recipient of four Ovation nominations, including a win for Best New Play, and the GLAAD Outstanding Los Angeles Theatre Award.
