Nadia Menco

Nadia Menco was born on January 27, 1982 in Cartagena, Colombia. She is an actress, director and writer. She started acting in theatre when she was 16 years old with her identical twin sister Tania Menco. She moved to Chile where she studied human figure drawing with the Chilean artist Carmen Silva. She also worked in a poetry festival and created performances for theatre. She lived in New York City, where she studied in City College of New York and as well performed with her theatre group YorkVille. She collaborated with other New York artists and wrote poetry, plays, and created paintings. She co-directed and produced Pink Dolphin, a short film, with Lucie Tripon. This film was shot in the Amazon Rain Forest and includes natural actors from native tribes. Pink Dolphin was part of Cannes Court Metrage 2015 (no competition) and official selection in SR Film Festival 2015. She is married with Joshua Hathaway.
