Laura Docherty

LAURA DOCHERTY - is a 45year old actress who has been in the creative industry since she was a young girl. She trained as a dancer, was a singer in the Glasgow Pub Circuit in the 1990's and moved on to do studio work as a Singer/Songwriter. She then went on to perform in a band for a few years achieving radio play with one of her original songs. After many years living in the Yorkshire Dales , having children and working in the corporate world Laura returned back home to Scotland five years ago and decided to find her first love "THE ENTERTAINMENT WORLD" Since coming home she has been involved in many projects, Presenting Documentaries Voiceover for Radio and Film Projects Hosted "The Party Hour" Radio Show to 66K loyal listeners Actress in a Several Films (one of which won a Scottish BAFTA Award in 2017) Acted and Directed Social Awareness Plays Modelling Projects for Pinewood Studios & Various Newspaper Articles Stylist for US Films, UK Films, Theatre and Fashion Shoots On Set Hair & Make Up Set Design/Props on Many Projects She lives by her motto to "DO WHAT YOU LOVE AND LOVE WHAT YOU DO, FOLLOW YOUR HEART..."
