Lauren Alberque was born in Dallas, Texas in 1989. She received a BA in Film & Video from Columbia College Chicago in 2011. In Chicago, she worked as a film archivist and on personal experimental films. She holds a certificate in Film Archiving and Preservation from The L. Jeffrey Selznick School of Film Preservation. She has resided in Rochester, NY since 2014, where she works as an archivist.
