Christopher McGruer

Christopher McGruer is a writer, director, and producer. He directed and produced According to Valentine (2016), an independent short film adapted from Allan Knee's play, The St Valentine's Day Massacre. Christopher directed Having Hope at Home (2017), a play nominated for five awards, including Outstanding Direction, in out-of-festival adjudication by the Western Ontario Drama League Festival. He is working with Carol Christie on a full-length screenplay based on the true story of her life in a polygamous Mormon cult that began in the 1970's and continued until the incarceration of the cult leader.
