Yanfeng Zhang

Producer/Director Yanfeng's feature documentary debut We Are Triathletes (2018) is the first-ever feature documentary on the sport of triathlon released in more than 300 theaters in 5 countries including the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia and New Zealand in the summer of 2018. Yanfeng worked as a development assistant to the acclaimed film producer Janet Yang (known for The Joy Luck Club and The People vs. Larry Flynt) before getting involved in U.S.-China film co-production projects. He also produced a TV documentary on 2015 Ironman World Championship which was aired on China's Central Television (CCTV) in 2016. Yanfeng obtained his professional certificate in producing from UCLA's School of Theater, Film and Television in 2013. He also earned his MBA degree from Santa Clara University, and his MA degree in International Affairs from American University. As a triathlete and a runner, Yanfeng has completed two Ironman triathlon races and many marathons.
