Karan Choudhary, originally from Faridabad, India moved to New York in 2013 to study acting. He graduated from The Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre and is now actively pursuing his acting and filmmaking career. In 2017 Choudhary began making his own films to create opportunities for himself as well as other fellow artists. His first film, a short documentary called "Dedication", was well received at the global Film Festivals circuit. It had four nominations and two wins for Best Short Documentary and Best Message. In 2018 he made his second short film, a comedy called "New York'd", which was a huge success and accepted in over twenty-five Film Festivals. It received eight nominations and five wins in various categories. In 2019 he released his third short film called "The Timepiece", which was accepted at more than three dozen Film Festivals and received over a dozen awards and nominations in various categories. His latest film, "Swiped Out", which he wrote and directed, will be released in late 2020.
