Lucia Caruso

Lucia Caruso is a Film Score Composer, Professional Concert Pianist and now, the protagonist in the feature film, Forte (2019). Lucia also stars in and composed music for Death Metal Grandma (2018) and The Universe Echoes Back (2018). Caruso recorded her piano concerto "Light and Wind" with the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields at the Abbey Road Studios in London in July 2019. She is Argentinean-born and based in New York City. Her numerous awards include the 2015 and 2016 ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers) Plus Award, the 2017 International Portuguese Music Awards (IPMA), for Best Instrumental Performance, and the Best Emerging Filmmaker Documentary Award at the American Pavilion at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival.
