Abby Glover is an actress and model born in Nashville, Tennessee on February 27, 1998. Abby was obsessed with watching movies and television while growing up in a small town in rural west Tennessee. By the time she was seven, she knew she wanted to act. Her rural location limited her opportunities for learning the film industry so she dove into local theatre. Over the next ten years, her love for theater and acting grew with lead roles in musical theater. In 2014 her family relocated to Nashville (Franklin) where Abby found greater opportunity for film and Television. Abby's first big break came in 2017 she was cast in the reoccurring role as Kai on ABC's series "Kevin Probably Saves the World". Her first major motion picture debut was 2018 The Hate U Give (20th Century Fox). In 2022, Abby will play Georgette Jones, daughter of George Jones and Tammy Wynette in the John Hillcoat directed six-episode limited series "George and Tammy" premiering exclusively on Spectrum, Paramount+ and the Paramount Network. The series stars Michael Shannon playing George Jones and Jessica Chastain as Tammy Wynette in a drama about the country music legends stormy marriage. Steve Zahn will play George Richey who managed Tammy Wynette until her 1998 death. Abby has been cast as Cindy Boudreux on Showtime Networks TV Series "The First Lady" releasing in April 2022. "The First Lady" staring Viola Davis, Michelle Pfeiffer, Gillian Anderson, Dakota Fanning, Kiefer Sutherland and Aaron Eckhart among other A-listers in the cast. The series will explore the personal and political lives of America's historic and powerful First Ladies, with season one focusing on Eleanor Roosevelt, Betty Ford and Michelle Obama. Abby recently finished filming the Warner Brothers feature film Shazam! Fury of the Gods releasing in theaters December 2022. Some of her prior experience includes Netflix Stranger Things, Messiah, Ozark and feature film -The Devil All the Time opposite Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson. Abby's other films include 20th Century Fox's The Hate U Give, InstaPsycho, Purity Falls, and I Am Not Ashamed. The short Waiting Room was shown at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival. "Way Back In The Woods" (with Abby in the role of Abbie Walker) pilot for a ten-episode, hour-long television series, won the 2021 Franklin International Independent Film Festival for Best Episodic Short Film and was nominated in multiple categories including Doc Feature, Best Short Film, Best Tennessee Short Film, and Audience Favorite. In 2021, the TV -Web-series pilot also celebrated accolades from the New York Independent Cinema Awards, Venice Short Film Awards, Lady Filmmaker Festival and LA Independent Women Film Awards. Abby actively supports St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and serves weekly with the Bridge Ministry delivering food to Nashville inner city school children. Abby continues to enhance her other talents and honing her craft taking instruction at The 4th Wall Acting Studio and by working behind the scenes in makeup, costume design, and art directing. In addition to her film and TV appearances, Abby has been featured in over ten music videos with artists such as Carrie Underwood, Russel Dickerson, Morgan Evans, and Alexis Ebert - (her co-star in Way Back In The Woods), multiple print ads, fine art exhibits, and modeling events.
