Angie is a novelist, short story writer, and award-winning screenwriter living in Portland, Oregon. She is the creator behind "Redmonton," an original series inspired by her hometown (Springfield, MO), that offers new voices of a young generation struggling with identity and fading dreams in a post-recession world. As a screenwriter and director, she strives to bring authentic human experiences and challenges to film. She is influenced by great filmmakers including Jason Reitman, Jonathan Dayton, and Sofia Coppola, for their mastery with capturing reality and the complexities and fragility of human emotion with their characters. In 2016, she earned multiple awards for her outstanding work in screenwriting and direction behind "Redmonton" (to date, the series has earned 25 American and international film awards for best web series, cinematography, ensemble cast, and more). Angie is a published author who explores contemporary themes including isolation, growing up, and individualism in the Midwest. Her first book, Anywhere But Here, is set to be released in spring 2016.
