Mert Sari

Originally from Istanbul, Turkey, Mert moved to Vancouver B.C. at the age of 17 to attend high school and decided to stay after graduation. Studying Music Production, working in the music, event and fashion industry both in Vancouver and in Istanbul, he found himself surrounded with artists of all sorts and people of like-mind. Wanting to expand his network more and dig deeper into the arts, Mert enrolled in Vancouver Film School's Film Production program in September 2014 and graduated with a feature film that he co-produced in the summer of 2015. Having produced multiple short films and getting involved with other various projects around music, arts, photography and theatre after graduating, Mert founded Alberni Street Productions in early 2016 enabling him a unified platform to push his projects forward.
