Lee Ann Hoover

Lee Ann's life has been a steady migration eastward. She grew up in small town central Pennsylvania, went to college in small town northern New Jersey, and began real life in bigger town Brooklyn. Her next move will be to the Atlantic Ocean. Lee Ann's creative work began in classical theater, a background she believes endowed her with the discipline and ferocity of spirit she has drawn upon throughout her career. After receiving her BA in Theater at Drew University Lee Ann shifted her attention to film because Jaws 5: The Age of Jaws isn't going to make itself. Nowadays Lee Ann script supervises on narrative indie projects of all shapes and sizes, from shorts to web series to feature films. While script supervision engages her logic-driven left brain, Lee Ann also loves firing up that right brain for her personal film projects. She will premiere her first short film Hammurabi in January 2017, which she wrote, directed and produced. She is the director and co-executive producer of Wonder, which is now a 2016 NYC Web Fest Official Selection. She is also hard at work at an original feature film script, which she plans on directing. Lee Ann is searching her family tree for a rich relative to fund the film. In her professional film projects Lee Ann has worked with three-time Emmy-nominated director Paul Starkman, Emmy-nominated producer Steven Bennett, and 2016 Albert Maysels New Documentary Director Award winner David Feige. Lee Ann has worked with many other awesome people that will also win or almost win some awards soon. She dreams of becoming herself in ten years. Her spirit animal is the kangaroo.
