Luc Hardy, native of Brittany, is a French-American citizen, Tech entrepreneur and early-stage investor, author, photographer and film producer, veteran explorer and adventurer, and an environmental advocate. Active in the technology industry for over 30 years, he is the head of Sagax, and founder of the advisory and investment firm Sagax Development Corp in Greenwich, CT, USA. He is a member of the Explorers Club of New York and the Société des Explorateurs Français and a Fellow of The Royal Geographic Society. As a founder and main sponsor of his own environmental organization Pax Arctica, Luc has led several scientific expeditions, traveling extensively to remote corners of the world to raise awareness for global causes, especially climate change. He is the author of several books: Antarctic Adventure, Greenland Impressions, Arctic Transitions and The Pursuit of Endurance - On the Shoulders of Shackleton. Through his media company Sagax Entertainment, Luc has produced several documentaries (The Pursuit of Endurance (2015), Arktika Incognita (2018)) and a fiction/documentary film (The Seacrets - TBA 2021). He is also a co-producer of The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir (2018) (2018 - Dir. Ken Scott), All That Divides Us (2017) (2017 - starring Catherine Deneuve and Diane Kruger). He is developing several other film projects, exposing environmental causes and social issues, inspiring solutions and compelling change.
