Stephanie Sequeira

Stephanie Sequiera was born in Toronto and raised in Vila Velha in the state of Espirito Santo. When she was 16 her mother decided that she and Stephanie would move to Rio de Janeiro so she could start Acting. Within a couple of years, Stephanie appeared as one of the top 60 contestants on Idolos, also known as Brazilian Idol. Eventually, she made the move to the United States, where she studied at the New York Film Academy on scholarship. Stephanie's favorite projects include "The Making of Madeline Moore" (54 Below), "Once Upon a Mattress," and "Chess." She regularly works to develop new musical theatre pieces with the writing team Carner and Gregor ("Unlocked," "Island Song"), and competed in the finals of "So You Think You Can Belt?" at NYC's West End Lounge. Stephanie is a proud member of Brazilian Equity.
