Born in Southampton, England, Andrew Weltch spent his early childhood in Windsor, but lived in Exeter from the age of nine. After graduating from the University of Kent, in English and Film Studies, he became a journalist, and later gained a Masters degree in Philosophy. He has written several non-fiction books, and is working on new material to be developed as films. He is an associate producer on the science fiction web series Cops and Monsters (2014) .
