Jake Green grew up in Moorpark, CA where he attended the local school system. For college, he was accepted into the Mechanical Engineering program at the University of Southern California. Halfway through his tenure, he added a Cinematic Arts minor. At USC, he got into virtual reality through a VR project that was working through the USC Games program called Project Holodeck. While on the project, he worked with the founders on creating a custom VR system alongside an immersive game. After his time at PH, he continued his studies until his senior year, where he started up his own VR Education startup, as well as started VRSC, the VR club at USC. Upon his graduation, he went to work for an LA-based VR Education startup called Zypre. It was at Zypre that he worked on First, the VR recreation of the Wright Brothers' first flight. He since worked with partner Jonah Hirsch to create a new entity, CGO Studios, to carry on the goal of creating high-quality moments of history in VR.
