Silvia Bottini

Silvia Bottini is an italian actress, born in Varese. She won her first award for Best Actress at the age of 18. After that she got a scholarship to attend the prestigious acting school Alessandra Galante Garrone where she graduated in 2007. She's been one of the two young women selected among 300 hundred, by the UBU winner Massimiliano Civica, to be part of the ETI (Italian theatre Institution) project FACCIAMO INSIEME TEATRO at Teatro della Tosse, in Genova. She worked with some of the most important directors in Italy like Valerio Binasco, Claudio Morganti, Marco Manchisi, Emanuele Conte etc. The play "IL FANTOCCIO" won the National ETI Award in 2009, the play "SONNO" won the National Critic Award in 2010. She's been working consistently for 15 years in Theatre, playing challenging roles like Giulietta in Romeo and Juliet, Viola in the twelfth night, Alice in Alice through the looking glass and many more. She also worked as a model for the microstock business and became the most sold Italian model in the world, with 25,000 images downloaded. One of this image has been stolen on the internet and became one of the most famous MEME of the web: The First World Problem, Crying Woman. She moved to Los Angeles in 2015 to work in the movie business.
