Kaya Kolodziejczyk

Kaya Kolodziejczyk is artist working in the field of choreography, performing arts and contemporary dance. She graduated from Die Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main - Germany, P.A.R.T.S. - performing arts research and training studios, Brussels - Belgium, and National Ballet School in Warsaw - Poland. In her performing path she was working worldwide with among others Maja Kleczewska, David Wampach, Mariusz Trelinski and Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker. Next to her performing work she closely collaborates as movement director and choreographer with film director Agnieszka Smoczynska . Kaya creates choreographies for theatre plays , fashion shows, tv-shows (So you think you can dance - Poland) , and operas . Her performances are based on the "cross-art idea" were experiments with interactive animations responding to sound and movement, somatic techniques, film images and music are creating expressive score.
