Sara Ashlea Bagwell was born on Tuesday, April 28, 1987, in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Her father was a pilot flying small jet engine planes, and her mother was a supervisor of the computer help desk which supported U.S. Army personnel. Ashlea was an only child and had no true biological siblings, but did have a half-sister, April, who was 7 years older and was born during their father's previous marriage. Ashlea has 2 children; a son, Jayden Lane, and a daughter, Jaycee Grace. Ashlea graduated from Hazel Green High School in Hazel Green, Alabama, with several honors; including, National Art Honor Society, All American Scholar, National Leadership Merit Award, and Who's Who Among American High School Students. Ashlea's hobbies and passions were drawing charcoal portraits and writing poetry and had her first poem, "A Father's Love" was published while she was in sixth grade in Anthology of Poetry by Young Americans, 1997 edition. One month after graduating high school, Ashlea began her career as an Audio/Video Presentation Support Technician on Redstone Arsenal, which is the U.S. Army base that her mother worked on, and she worked this job for seven years as a government contractor. When she left that position, she began her Disc Jockey career at various night clubs and other venues throughout Huntsville, Madison, and Birmingham, Alabama, while working under the name of DJ Short Stax. During this time she recorded and produced two R&B songs titled, "Going Out Tonight" and "VIP", at the local HOTT 103.5 fm radio station where it was also played often. While she was in the nightclub scenes she began her own clothing line "Unique Kouture" and was designing clothes for several local music artists, and really pushing her new clothing line. During this time, she met her manager, Rusty Murray, with Rogue Management/Model Mayhem, and on October 31, 2010 she signed three contracts with Rogue Management; a Modeling Contract, an Acting Contract, and they signed her clothing line "Unique Kouture" as well. After completing two acting classes a week in Bessemer, Alabama, with her Acting Coach, Kevin Wayne. In January 2014, Ashlea read for the role of Sarah in the movie CarTELLERS, which the final copy was released on Amazon.com on Dec. 16, 2016.
