La'Porsha Renae quickly became an American sweetheart, after appearing on the 15th and final season of American Idol (2002). Captivating the audience with heart-wrenching performances of records, such as "No More Drama" (Mary J. Blige), "Ready for Love" (India Arie) and "Diamonds" (Rihanna), La'Porsha quickly grabbed the attention of not only the American Idol judges, but also the millions of viewers at home. Despite becoming the season's runner-up, music business onlookers quickly recognized La'Porsha's God-given star quality and she was immediately offered a recording contract with 19 Recordings/Motown Records. Since American Idol, La'Porsha has been recording her debut album, while her Idol finale original track- "Battles" aided as the soundtrack for the U.S. Women's Olympic Gymnastics team during the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio. With "Good Woman", La'Porsha Renae marks her first official 19 Recordings /Motown Records single debut - leading up to the Winter 2017 release of her debut studio album.
