Andrea Saini

Born in 1985, Naples Italy, Andrea Saini began his career as a photographer before moving into the moving-picture industry. Having worked for the company Heavy Metal Artwork, Andrea has developed a unique cinematography and directing style that he is now putting to great use with his first directorial short film debut "Stay Still". Andrea has also worked in documentary; having directed a piece about a young Italian Jazz singer and the struggle to get into the jazz scene in the city of London. It is titled "In A Moment". As a lover of music, a lot of Andrea's projects, whether photography or motion-picture based, are very influenced by a musical melody. Early in the year of 2015, Jazz music speared another one of Andrea Saini's projects; this being a micro-budget short film that he co-produced and was the director of photography on. This micro-short film is titled "Misplaced" and has been showered with acclaim, finishing in the Top 6 of the Tallenge short film competition, out of 700+ micro-short films and having been chosen as an official selection for the TopShorts Festival 2015. Andrea is greatly influenced from his Italian routes, being a big fan of the films from auteurs Federico Fellini, Ingmar Bergman and Paolo Sorrentino. Andrea has multiple short- films in development with the aim to direct his feature debut in the coming years
