Randa Wise was Born Miranda Wise on May 15, 1965 in Washington, DC, where she was raised and graduated from Ballou High School. After graduating, she took a few secretarial classes and worked as a clerical supervisor for a publishing company for years before becoming a 9-1-1 operator in Northern Virginia. Wise always had a burning desire to write, so in 2004, she published her first novel, Jonathan's Summer. After 4 subsequent novels, she left Virginia and relocated to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and in 2012, launched her first performing arts production: Our Money Is Green, a stage play. Shortly after, in 2013, the completion of her first film Loud Sound of Silence. Wise portrayed Miss Pearl in her stage production, Our Money Is Green. Not only writing, but she has also directed her films and aided in the casting of them.
