George was first involved in acting as a youth in Waco, TX where he was involved with the Paul Baker Children's Theater at Baylor. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1974 with a BFA in Drama. After many years of work in regional and community theater, he found occasional parts in independent films and television, but has now fully retired to Punta Gorda, Florida.
