Oscar Raynard Gary, Jr. is an American actor and writer, born on June 30 in the small town of Franklin, Virginia. He was raised in Capron, Virginia, along with 3 siblings, by his father, his stepmother, and his biological mother. Oscar performed in his first play in elementary school and began writing short stories at the age of 14. After graduating from high school, Oscar attended Norfolk State University, in Norfolk, Virginia, where he received a Bachelors Degree in Journalism. In college he relentlessly pursued his faith and became a youth minister. After graduating from college, he relocated to Bowie, Maryland. Oscar established a successful career within the federal government, but began to pursue acting in his free time in 2014. Soon thereafter, he realized it was time to aggressively pursue his dream of becoming an actor and filmmaker. In August of 2018 Oscar relocated to Brooklyn, NY. He enrolled at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute where he attended a 4 month acting conservatory to study Method Acting.
