Matthias Kocur

Matthias attended "On Camera Training Program" at The Green Room Studio, " Acting and Scene Study" at Second City in Chicago, along with "Drama I, II, III," and Literature & Film Studies classes at M.S.H.S. He studied Acting Studies with Professor Veronda Carey at OCC. He enjoys arts, theater, music, and dance. He danced for CYM (AYAC) at Navy Pier and Christmas Around the World - Museum of Science and Industry. He also performed for Flash Mob America as a dancer, with artist Aloe Blacc to the music Avicii -songwriter of "Wake Me Up", for an IMAX movie, "Americas Musical Journey." Matthias also considers himself a lyricist, he engages in free style rap battles and enjoys throwing down lyrics. His first appearance as a model was on The Steve Harvey Show in Chicago for Burlington Coat Factory. He has modeled for Walk Fashion Show, LHC-VIP, Insatiable Creations, and Live out Loud Charily. He is also working with Keep it Klassy Models and Walk it Out Fashion and Hair Show. He walked the runway during New York Fashion Week, Walk Milwaukee, Art Basel Fashion Show in Miami, and the great city of Chicago. Walking for a cause for charity events have been quite rewarding. His first time on set was in 10/15 for Chiraq the Series, where he worked with influential film crew and actors from Chicago. From this networking experience he has ventured out to more Independent films producers. The Summer of 2016, he worked on short comedy sketch with Michael Jolls, on "Shakespeare's A Mid-Summer's Night Class" & "What Actually Happens In Community College." Matthias has also had experience with commercials and music videos. His first commercial was in 07/16, "Independence" he was upgraded to a principal performer for Comcast/Xfinity TV. In 2018 he participated in The Chicago 48 HR Film Festival, and (Bada Boom) won The Runner Up Audience Award. Also, he appeared in multiple music videos, the most known with Local H, "Innocents" which was nominated to a few, different film festivals Matthias has been studying to achieve a degree in Marketing, along with Acting & Film Studies in his college years.
