Derek P Spencer

Derek P Spencer was born in Martinsville, Virginia to Daniel and Deborah Spencer. Derek attended Patrick County High School in Stuart, Virginia. He has ancestry dating back to Norse, Irish, English, Scottish, and Native American. Derek was a volunteer firefighter and rescue squad member for many years before joining the US Army in 2003. Derek became a combat medic for the Army and deployed twice to Iraq and served five years. After his honorable discharge from military service, Derek began his education journey at an automotive technical school and after graduating from that school, enrolled at Mitchell Community College in Statesville, North Carolina. Derek graduated from Mitchell Community College and then enrolled at Catawba Valley Community College in Hickory, North Carolina where his interest in acting peaked. Derek was enrolled at Lenoir Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina as a theatre major.
