Miguel Jesus Soliman was born on 4 January, 1993, in Hoboken, NJ, to Magaly Asanza and David Soliman, Sr. His father worked as a construction worker and his mother worked in a laundromat. Miguel grew up with his two older brothers, David and Juan in Jersey City, NJ, and later went to high school in North Bergen, NJ. He attended Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ, where he earned his degree in film directing. During that time, he met producer Maggie Kaszuba, web-creator Kiyun Sung, and writer/voiceover actor Gregory Roberts, with whom he frequently works with and continues to be friends. Bypass (2015), Miguel's undergraduate thesis short film, premiered as part of FDUFilm's annual Richard Turick Screenings for Senior Thesis Films in East Hanover, NJ in May 2015. It later went on to be part of YoFi Fest 2015 in Yonkers, NY. It can now be viewed on YouTube. Miguel also appeared in several movies, including Inspired (2015), Renaldo The Magician (2014), and Todo Sobre Mi Familia (2012) which he also wrote and directed. Miguel has acted in commercials including Spanish-language ads for products such as Star Night Laser and Clear Dash HD. Miguel enjoys nothing more than making people laugh. He attends classes at the Upright Citizens Brigade NY for improvisational comedy and sketch writing. He will pursue his Master's in Film Directing at the School of Visual Arts beginning in the Fall of 2016.
