Mel Gamboa

Mel Gamboa Angolan actress born in Romania. Most known by her work on Tv daily shows in Angola Public Television since 2008. Member of the prestigious Angolan Theatre Company - Elinga Teatro and crew member of the direction of Angolan Artists Union - UNAC. She is also CEO and Founder of the first private school exclusive for actors in Angola, based in Luanda called Estúdio de Actores as well as CEO of Together Now Lda - Multimedia Services. She went to Journalism and Business school, but her life path were mostly being part of theatre stage as actress since 1998. Her acting for film training was done in ACT - Cape Town in South Africa and New York Film Academy - Los Angeles in United States. Part of her work experience and passions are film and photography . As a writer she has her own column in a weekly newspaper in Angola "Jornal - A Republica" and her blog "mel gamboa escreve" In 2016 she create her online Youtube channel exclusive for her activism in Women's Rights in Portuguese. She is also highly involved as a spoker person in Human Rights issues in her country
