Emily started out in LA in 2013 working as a Production Assistant for NBC's The Biggest Loser and for Lionsgate with Matt Kunitz on the Pilot, Chrisley's Court in 2015, along with a variety of projects for Skrein Productions. She's also worked as a co-host, producer, and movie critic alongside Tony Toscano in his Emmy award-winning movie review show, Talking Pictures. She's also worked with Emmy Award-winning screenwriter, Simon Moore (Traffic), on his project, "This Is the Frequency," and has written on a number of projects, most recently winning an award alongside fellow writer/director Immanuel Baldwin for their feature thriller, "Victorious Red". Love Spell, her directorial debut which she wrote, directed, and produced, won 12 awards and was nominated twice in festivals all over the world in 2020. Emily's passionate about writing stories featuring strong female protagonists and characters who don't quite fit in with their families, societies, or world. Her passion for writing about paranormal and occult themes started at a young age and has helped to give her work a recognizable stamp. She likes to weave supernatural and mysterious themes into her work, while simultaneously grounding it in historical realism. Growing up home-schooled, Emily spent a lot of her time reading mysteries, watching Hitchcock, and falling in love with noir films. In 2020, Emily began working on two true-crime thrillers and a sci-fi pilot for a TV series.
