Lotte van Beek

Lotte van Beek was born on 9 December 1991 in Zwolle, the Netherlands. She is speed skater.The Dutch have remarkable traditions in this sport. The young Van Beek achieved a great success during her first World Single Distance Championships held in Sochi in 2013. She won the silver medal in the 1500 m. The following year, 2014 at the Olympic Games, the very first in her career so far, Lotte van Beek became a sensation. She won two Olympic medals - one gold in the team pursuit and one bronze in the 1500 m event. There is no doubt that the future holds much more outstanding accomplishments for this young skater.
