Christopher Rygh trained at Oslo's prestigious Norsk Skuespillerinstitutt with subsequent professional roles across Norwegian stage and television. In recent years Christopher has rapidly become the "go to" actor for Scandinavian brawn and combat roles. His recent lead in US cult horror director Jordan Downey's Gothic fantasy The Head Hunter is rapidly gaining him critical acclaim for his role as the brooding and charismatic warrior on a lone mission to rid his world of dark forces and avenge his daughter's murder. Recent work includes Torstein in the stage version of The Last King directed by Asmund Brede Eike and season 3 of the Netflix series The Last Kingdom. His current project Medieval marks Christopher's debut in major feature film production which will see Christopher using his unrivaled skills with broadsword and on horseback.
