Laura Huhtasaari is a Finnish politician. A member of the Finns Party, she has represented in the Parliament of Finland since April 2015. She is also vice chairman of her party. Huhtasaari has received attention for questioning the theory of evolution and calling for stopping the asylum seekers who are coming to Finland. On 4 August 2017, Huhtasaari was chosen as the presidential candidate of the Finns Party
