Business owner-turned-screenwriter/producer, Paul spent the past 15 years coordinating and overseeing a wide array of multi-media post-production projects including video editing and graphic design for a spectrum of clients that span a variety of industries. Always having the desire to pursue more creative endeavors, Paul began writing his first screenplay, Heavy Shadows (q.v.) with long-time friend, actor, producer and co-writer, Shing Ka (q. v.). Soon after its recent completion, Shing forwarded a copy of the screenplay to legendary New York City indie director, writer and producer, John Andrew Gallagher (q.v.), with whom Ka had recently worked with on Gallagher's The Networker, and who has now signed on to direct Heavy Shadows (q.v.) Paul's collaboration with Gallagher has extended to producing Sarah Q (q.v.) and co-scripting/producing Mafiosi Undead (q.v.) Originally from New York City, Paul spent his formative years in the multi-cultural town of Teaneck, New Jersey, just outside Manhattan. Growing up in such a diverse and community-oriented environment allowed Paul to enjoy a wide spectrum of ethnic and creative experiences, which he cherishes to this day. After high school, Paul went on to study at the University of Arizona where he graduated with a Bachelors degree in Communications. At his time at the U of A, Paul began collaborating musically with a few classmates, which ultimately led to the formation of their college band Last Call, where Paul took the role of lead vocalist, as well as playing rhythm guitar. Enjoying a two-year run of playing live gigs around the Tucson circuit, Paul also co-wrote the band's repertoire of rock, alternative and acoustic songs. After moving on from his educational and musical endeavors in Arizona, Paul moved back to NYC and began working at Muze, Inc. Paul began his role in sales at Muze, which at the time was the preeminent and industry standard of catalogued information for the Music, Literary and Movie industries. Shortly after a stellar run at Muze, Inc., Paul moved on to start his post-production company, Seraphic Studio. While collaborating with and co-producing Heavy Shadows, Paul and Shing Ka also co-founded People Artistic, LLC, a New York City based production company. Although Paul enjoys all genres of film and writing, he typically gravitates towards true stories and true events for his material. Paul lives in New York City and is in the midst of writing and developing other feature screenplays.
