Belén is a bilingual actress known for her work in " Horizon"(2017)", Rip and Burn Chapter 1" ( 2018), and "El Luchador" (2017). Born in Lima, Peru she moved to Finland at age 17 to study Suzuki and Werbeck singing. After 3 years of living in Finland, she discovered that acting was her true calling and returned to her native Peru to pursue acting. She got into the National School of Dramatic Arts in Lima, where she was trained in Physical theater, Grotowski and Stanislavsky technique. A long time admirer of American theater and film, she moved to NYC in 2007 to continue her acting training. After graduating from AMDA, NYC, she was recruited by GALA Hispanic Theatre in Washington DC, where she performed in the new musical (Mummy in the closet the Return of Eva Perón). While rehearsing for the show she met her husband and made the decision to leave New York and move to D.C. where she went on to work in several productions at GALA and different theaters in the D.C. area. Belén is most notably known for her outstanding performance of Ana in the play( Living Out) by Lisa Loomer. She changed her focus to film and shortly after was cast in commercials and short films. Her passion for film encouraged her to move to LA where she is now living her dream and enjoying the amazing weather, beautiful beaches, and great food.
