Dave Thomas worked as a Producer/Presenter/Journalist/Director/Screenplay Writer. Often working for Ireland's biggest media companies - RTE Radio & TV, Newstalk 106-108FM Radio, The Irish Times, Sunday Times, Irish Independent, Irish Stage & Screen magazine, RTE Guide magazine and many more. He developed and designed publications * developed/invented an educational Board Game (available all over Europe) for people with an intellectual disability * co-founded/Managed a multi-award winning national Arts Centre for people with disabilities working on a global level, known for creating the first ever radio series for people with disabilities, the first arts magazine for people with disability, responsible for compulsory Braille Signs at art exhibitions, the first ever disability and sexuality conference in Ireland plus many more achievements. * founded the first ever Wicklow Pride Festival. Dave is a multi-award winner as a Screenplay Writer, Producer and Director. His films 'Aretha' (drama) and '1 Billion' (documentary) have won many international awards having screened all across the USA, Ireland, Europe, India, UK and Australia. His screenplays (short and features) have won many awards from all over the world. Dave lives in County Wicklow, Ireland.
