Sydney K.

Sydney is an independent producer, editor and sound-mixer from Los Angeles. She graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a double major in Literature and Film with honors and awards in both her fields. She took extra courses and programs at schools, such as the New York Film Academy and UCLA. She creates films and radio-narratives under her company, Rickety Wheels Productions and currently produces reality TV shows with Get Me Out Productions. Both her personal short films, her narrative sound works, and the shorts she's produced have swept the film festival circuits. Sydney's senior thesis film "Thank You, Janet," which then became an Official Selection as a Semi-Finalist in the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival in 2017/2018. "Thank You, Janet" and an adaptation of its screenplay, 'They Burn Yellow' also won the 13Horror Screenplay and Film Contest in 2018 as Finalists. 'They Burn Yellow' is now published as an eBook on Amazon Kindle as a result of the 13Horror contest. Even her sound work, under the name Jusqua'au Bout, has garnered attention through its broadcast in the 2017 International Radiophrenia Sound Festival based in Glasgow, Scotland. Sydney is most noted for her producing work with Ken Shinozaki on 'Intelligentia,' currently featured on the sci-fi hit YouTube channel DUST; for the 'Shifter' Series by Matt Marder and Adam Cohen; for the 'Men of West Hollywood' reality television show, which was recently bought for distribution.
