Laura Buck

Biography February 22, 2016 _________________________________________________________________________________ Laura Buck was raised in a small panhandle city in Florida, now residing in Biloxi, Mississippi. She is the eldest of six. Her passion as a child was piano and clarinet, being a church pianist from age 8 to 14 and pianist for a traveling gospel group. Her mother and father, Ellen and Reginald, believed in her abilities, encouraged and attended Laura's musical ventures. However, at Laura's age of 14, her 34 year-old mother died of lymphatic leukemia, which left her in charge of raising young siblings while her father worked as a cookie vendor 6 days a week. Laura left home at age 19 after her father remarried. She attended a local Community College with aspirations in media/entertainment, later landing an on-air position part-time at a small radio station and working full-time as a medical secretary. Marriage, family, etc., changed her life and she moved to Biloxi, Mississippi, renewing her strength and passion for the entertainment industry. Past experience includes stage plays, skits, music video, film and TV.
