Cherie Duah is a British-Ghanaian actress born on August 3, 2001 to Ghanaian West African parents residing in the United Kingdom. A talented actress hailing from the London borough of Islington, she has been acting professionally since the age of 12. Making her professional big screen debut in Jim O'Hanlon's 100 Streets, starring Idris Elba, Gemma Arteton and Franz Drameh. Cherie played the featuring role of 'Amelia'. She has appeared in a diverse selection of short films, photographic campaigns and stage productions. An award-winning creative; in 2017 she was awarded by Gal-dem Magazine for using her creative talents to tackle the difficult subject of colourism. Cherie was presented with the award at the magazine's two year anniversary and launch party of their second issue in London, on Friday 29th September 2017. Committed to giving back to the community, Cherie mentors and supports young aspiring performers at Company 3: Islington Youth Theatre, Park Theatre and other local youth theatre companies. She believes in helping and nurturing young creatives, so that they too, can achieve their dreams and live to their full potential.
