Elliott McVeigh is an actor and writer, based in Brooklyn, New York, best known for his debut film role in Phornix, AZ. He was born in Tucson and grew up in Scottsdale, AZ where he discovered his passion for acting and theater. At age 11, he started in improv comedy and has since been a regular player with several troupes including National Comedy Theatre and Laughing Pig. His improv training includes Second City in Chicago and Jester'Z in Mesa, AZ. His favorite theater roles include Little Man in "Reeling" and Albert Einstein in "Picasso at the Lapin Agile." He has a theater degree from the University of Arizona where he received a best director award for his play "Faces." He has a master's degree in mass communications and journalism from the Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University. In New York, he has been involved stand up comedy and short films.
