Frances Alfred Basil Tomlin

Frances Alfred Basil Tomlin is a face well-known to die-hard Star Wars fans. He played the uncredited part of BoShek, a pilot in the Mos Eisley cantina who declines transport for Obi-Wan Kenobi and directs him toward Han Solo in Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977). However, Mr. Tomlin's name was unknown until investigative reporter Billy Jensen decided to track him down. Ultimately, Mr. Jensen's efforts led him to Mr. Tomlin's family, who confirmed that the role of BoShek was his claim to fame. With this confirmation, Mr. Tomlin (known to everyone as Tom) has finally secured his place in pop culture.
