Peter Nygren

Peter Kristian Nygren was born on June 14, 1989 in Saint Paul, Minnesota to Garnet Louise (Peterson) and Rodney Keith Nygren, a pastor. As a pastor's son, Peter was used to sudden and unplanned moves ... a pain that is reflected in some of his early writing. The eldest of three children, Peter sought refuge in film, becoming totally mesmerized from an early age. Peter began his acting career in the 4th grade as a Munchkin, for a school production of The Wizard of Oz in Orfordville, Wisconsin. He would return briefly to Minnesota during the middle school years, only to move again to Belton, Missouri at the age of 12, where he would excel on the stage with performances in The Boys Next Door, Romeo and Juliet, and The House on Pooh Corner. Peter would return to Minnesota again to attend Gustavus Adolphus College, where he performed in several shows, portraying The Ghost in Hamlet as well as Alt in Ferdinand Bruckner's Pains of Youth.
