Ariana Lebrón was born in Dominican Republic to a Domincan mother and Puerto Rican father. This meant she would live most of her childhood between both Caribbean Islands and learn to appreciate the love for a life full of culture and arts. From a very young age Ariana started exploring stage performances in school plays and theatre groups, which made her fell in love with the performing arts. It was not much later in life that she landed the opportunity to attend London's prestigious Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. It was there in England where Lebrón would be exposed to Master Classes with Dr. Ana Sanchez, Trisha Brown, Frances Barbe, Ayse Tashkiran, and Eugenio Barba among others. As an actress, dancer, presenter, producer and movement director, Ariana was able to participate in many cultural projects in England, Italy, Germany, Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic. During this time, Ariana had the opportunity to work in music videos, short films, commercials, and web series. This opened the opportunities to work with directors such as Joe Pyrka (Space Jam), and David Herrera (Prelude to Madness). In 2014, Ariana landed the lead female character for the film "Flor de Azúcar". From the Director Fernando Baez (El Rey de Najayo), this Dominican film production is set to open in the Dominican Republic in the summer of 2016. Most recently, Lebrón and a small group of Latin American and European actors established in England have come together to form Interzone Productions. Inspired by the lack of diversity in roles in the UK film industry, Interzone aims give a voice to those who seem invisible, and develop film projects that will shine the light on current social topics such as immigration and other humanitarian stories.
