Ms. Rushton was born and raised in BC and is a graduate of the Canadian College of Performing Arts in Victoria, BC on Vancouver Island. A bonafide torch singer and consummate triple threat performer Mandy revels in sharing intimate stories with young audiences and young at heart. Her passion is to transform space and transfix an audience but also loves singing music from the last 100 years known as The Great American Songbook. The last few years have seen her lending her talents as a proficient emcee/singer/host for corporate events, VIP product launches, high profile charity galas and special event/fundraisers assisting in raising thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars for worthy causes in a single evening. In 2017 this balladeer took up the reins producing and starring in her own one-woman cabaret acts with Mr. Sean Allen on the keys collaboratively creating several themed shows for private in-home concerts or as scheduled at The Cottage Bistro. Additionally, she had the fortune to work alongside award-winning/Jim Henson Foundation grant recipient Kyle Loven (a former Seattle now Vancouver based performance, puppet, and visual artist) on all four Canadian "Me Love BINGO!" nights as his Vanna White type hostess, singer, co-host, stage manager, puppeteer & dancer. Acting credits for TV include Patient Dancer # 5/ Co-Star in Legion for FX Chanel (Bollywood dance number) Theatre: West Side Story, A Chorus Line, Hello, Dolly! and Anne of Green Gables to name a few. Theatre companies she's worked with include Vancouver Playhouse, Theatre Under The Stars, Ophidian Entertainment, Koba Family Entertainment, Shrimp Magnet Theatre Company, Lonewolf Entertainment and many more.
