Josiah Zane Platte was born and raised on a small farm in rural New Hamshire. At an early age, he started making movies with his little brothers and the family camcorder. When he turned 18 he made a twelve-minute short film that was soon discovered by a Primetime Emmy winning director and producer Ron De Moraes, who liked the short enough to call up and convince Josiah to move to LA and pursue filmmaking. A year later Josiah moved to LA and has since been making more short films while writing his first feature.
