Tanesha Martin

Tanesha Martin was born in London, England, to Sandra Martin and Leo Grant. She was raised in South-East London in Forest Hill. She is an actress known for Existens (2015) and The Gangsters (2016). As a child, Tanesha expressed a keen interest in acting and dancing and attended Sylvia Young Theatre school where she took Tap, Ballet and Drama classes. During Tanesha's teenage life, she attended London Metropolitan University where she received a degree in Psychology. Whilst at university Tanesha once again began to pine after her childhood passions, and in her final year of study she decided to restart acting classes. Tanesha took up part-time acting classes at Identity Drama School of Acting and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, whilst in her third and final year of University. It was on a short course at the latter, where Tanesha was strongly urged to continue her pursuit in acting by the head of the Acting Course. Tanesha took on this advice and auditioned for the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama's Acting Diploma course in 2011 and was accepted. After her studies here, Tanesha went on to train in LA with Diane and Lorrie Hull in the Strasberg Technique and then finally in the Meisner Technique, at the Actors Temple in London.
