Dr. Cube

A character from Kaiju Big Battel with a gimmick of a wrestling mad scientist and is best known as the promotion's top villain. He debuted at "Atrium Arena Rumble" in 1996. His backstory is that of a failed Nazi experiment to create a perfect man. He has appeared in CHIKARA many times and became an important part of the big ongoing storyline. He debuted at "CHIKARA Aniversario!" on May 27, 2007, teaming with Call-Me-Kevin in a loss to Dusto Bunny and Gii the Space Pirate. At "CHIKARA King of Trios 2008 Night I," February 29, 2008, CHIKARA's the Order of the Neo-Solar Temple (UltraMantis Black/Hallowicked/Frightmare) faced Kaiju Big Battel's the Sea Amigos (Call-Me-Kevin/D.W. Cycloptopuss III/Unibouzu). Before the match, Mantis said that he had "friends in very high places" and brought out their "new found friend," Dr. Cube. Cube walked out and ran down the Sea Amigos, saying Call-Me-Kevin was a "sham" of a Kaiju Champion (Call-Me-Kevin was notorious for his long losing streak). Cube then gave Mantis a bottle of tartar sauce to use against the Sea Amigos. At "CHIKARA AniversarioMA," May 23, 2008, the Sea Donsters (Tim Donst and Hydra (Andrew Dinsmore) defeated Tucor and Grydin of Dr. Cube's Posse. At "CHIKARA Vanity and Violence," August 10, 2008, Mike Quackenbush (Mike Spillane) teamed with the Sea Donsters to defeat the Order (Mantis and Crossbones) and Dr. Cube. At "CHIKARA Duel & Duality" on December 14, 2008, UltraMantis Black cut a promo before his match with Hydra where he said that Hydra knew what Mantis had to do to make the transaction with Dr. Cube but that Hydra was simply a pawn. (At "CHIKARA Face With A View" on December 12, Donst had wondered why Mantis had wanted the counter for the CHIKARA Special to pass along to Chris Hero and Hydra had acknowledged that he knew why and wrote it down. The camera showed that Hydra had written "Eye of Tyr," a Norse mythological artifact that is supposed to be able to control minds.) At "CHIKARA Revelation X" on January 25, 2009, during the Mike Quackenbush/Jigsaw-Order of the Neo-Solar Temple (Mantis/Crossbones), Quack forced Mantis to admit that former CHIKARA Commissioner Bob Saget (yes, Bob Saget) had been involved in the situation regarding the CHIKARA Special. (At "CHIKARA The Sordid Perils of Everyday Existence" on November 17, 2007, Hydra had essentially thrown a match against Shane Storm, ending Storm's losing streak. Later that same night, Chris Hero (Chris Spradlin) defeated Equinox (Vin Gerard) in a Hair vs. Mask match by breaking the CHIKARA Special by kicking Equinox in the head and then locking Equinox in the hold himself. At "CHIKARA Young Lions Cup VI Night III" on June 15, 2008, Mike Quackenbush revealed that Shane Storm had been the mole who had provided Mantis with the counter to the CHIKARA Special. This led to Storm having no choice but to turn rudo [heel/bad guy] and become STIGMA and form the UnStable with Vin Gerard.) At "CHIKARA The Bobliographon" on April 26, 2009, during Mantis' match with Create-A-Wrestler (Dasher Hatfield), commentator Louden Noxious (Jack Dourakos) revealed that Dr. Cube had bought Chris Hero's contract from Bob Saget in exchange for the counter to the CHIKARA Special, in the last ever mention of Chris Hero in CHIKARA history. After Incoherence (Delirious (William Hunter Johnston)/Hallowicked/Frightmare) defeated the Roughnecks (Eddie Kingston/Brodie Lee/Grizzly Redwood), Mantis and Crossbones confronted Delirious and used the Eye of Tyr to abduct him into the Order. This was part of the storyline leading to the debut of Die Bruderschaft des Kreuzes (BDK) at the 2009 Season Finale "CHIKARA Three-Fisted Tales" on November 22nd. Dr. Cube's Posse tore down Wrestling Is Awesome at the end of the promotion's October 6, 2013 show. This was part of the Flood's campaign of destroying all the Wrestling Is... promotions. At "National Pro Wrestling Day 2014," February 1, 2014, the Flood, including Dr. Cube's Posse invaded and brawled with the CHIKARA wrestlers. Dr. Cube had a team of two masked wrestlers named Haack and Slaash who were eliminated from the 2014 Tag World Grand Prix by the Throwbacks (Dasher Hatfield and "Mr. Touchdown" Mark Angelosetti) despite several Flood members interfering. At "CHIKARA King of Trios 2014 Night I," September 19, 2014, 3Peck0 ("Big Magic" Shane Matthews and Scott Jagged Parker (Jeff Parker) and Archibald Peck (R.D. Evans)) defeated the BDK (Ares (Marco Jaggi), Nokken and Dr. Cube). After the match, Cube unmasked to reveal the returning Jakob Hammermeier who then revealed that he held the Eye of Tyr (Delirious had smashed it at the beginning of the 2012 Season Premiere "The Thirteenth Hat" on January 28, 2012) and was using it to control Nokken. This led to Ares leaving CHIKARA. (Haack disappeared, and, at "CHIKARA For Your Eyes Only" on November 16, 2004, Slaash unmasked to reveal Pinkie Sanchez (Adam Ortega)). Dr. Cube continues to appear in Kaiju Big Battel. He is a former Kaiju Grand Champion.
