As a young girl she went to the conservatory for singing lessons. But then the Second World War broke out and the center of Rotterdam was bombed. Her career as an actress and/or singer was interrupted and after the war totally abandoned. Later she tried to restart her career but the times had changed. In her personal life you could still see the actress in her.
