Sandy is a Melbourne-based performer with experience across stage, screen, voiceover and radio. She has been known to warble a tune on stage, and with a choir or two. Her family would happily report that Sandy was destined for a performer's life, starting her career early as a kinder kid creating impromptu dance recitals during visits to the local milk bar. She has put this rhythm to good use though, swinging out with some good old Lindy Hop, including a year with Swing Patrol's Solo Performance Troupe. Training through Atlantic Acting School in New York and other Australian-based programs, Sandy now pulls off the stern, and scary, defiant leader rather well. But is equally at home with the more compassionate maternal moments too, just in case you need that warm and fuzzy touch. Even though Sandy trod the boards right through school and into the early decades of adulthood, along with time on local ABC radio, she finally threw off the shackles of 'grown-up' expectations and turned to developing her professional career in the mid-2000s. She brings with her years of experience as a social welfare work, workplace trainer and some volunteer time with her local CFA, along with all the other good juice to bring characters alive.
