Makarand Shinde

Makarand Shinde is an independent filmmaker based in Pune. He is a graduate of Engineering in Information Technology from Pune University. He has been working as a filmmaker since his graduation. He started his filmmaking career by directing a few TVC's for his own institute Zeal Education Society in 2014. He started working as an assistant director on feature films since 2014. His first film was 'Classmates', directed by renowned filmmaker Aditya Sarpotdar. He has also worked with Nipun Dharmadhikari for his National Award Winning film 'Dhappa' (2019), 'Baapjanma' (2017) & 'Mi Vasantrao' (2020) as a Chief Assistant Director. His other works include Ani.. Dr.Kashinath Ghanekar (2018), III Smoking Barrels (2017), Mann Fakira (2020) & upcoming Netflix show titled as Mismatched directed by Akarsh Khurana & Nipun Dharmadhikari . He is also conversant with all post production processes and has worked on VFX heavy projects.
